History of B & R Body Shop
B&R Body Shop started as Bob & Ron's Body Shop in 1974 at 2601 Dimmick Avenue in Terre Haute, IN. Bob Hawkins and Ron Edington being the owners and operators. In 1981, the shop built a new facility at 1501 Washington St Terre Haute.
In 2004, the Hawkins family built a facility at 1803 E Margaret Drive in Terre Haute, IN. In 2016, it was relocated to its current location, 3012 S 9th Street, to make way for a railroad overpass being built by the city of Terre Haute.
Today, B & R Body Shop is a family-owned and operated business with over 40 years of experience. The shop is managed by Rob and still owned by Bob. B&R Auto Sales is also located at our current location. The car lot is owned by Ritchie and Bob with all daily operations handled by Ritchie.
